Three civilians killed in Al-Shabaab suicide attack in Mogadishu

A suicide bomb attack at a restaurant in the Somali capital Mogadishu has killed three civilians and left at least three others injured.
The restaurant, located near the Sayidka intersection, is usually frequented by members of the security forces. According to reports, a man wearing a suicide vest entered the restaurant before blowing himself up.
The spokesman for the Benadir administration, Salah Omar Hasan, said the explosion initially injured six people, four of them from a single family. Three of the same family members died of wounds sustained in the explosion.
Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the explosion, saying that it killed nine soldiers and injured 24 others.
