Somali Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheyre arrived in French capital, Paris, on Monday to attend the annual three-day Paris Peace Forum.
He will join French President Emmanuel Macron, President of EU Commission Ursula Von der Leyen, Vice-President of China Wang Qishan and other distinguished guests at the opening ceremony on Tuesday 12th November.
The annual forum will focus on global governance issues and multilateralism.
The prime minister will later head to Brussels, the European Union Headquarters, to discuss Somalia’s national development agenda and debt relief process with EU member state leaders.
“Departed for the Paris Peace Forum and EU headquarters to advance Somalia’s national development agenda and our Debt Relief Campaign” Kheyre tweeted before he left the country.
