Somali leaders eulogies late minister as committed servant

MOGADISHU—Condolence message is pouring in from Somali leaders led by the president and his prime minister, and cabinet members following the death of the Constitutional Minister Abdi Hosh Jibril. Jibril was one of the key ministers in Farmaajo Administration.

In separate message, both President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheyre termed his death as “shocking.”

The leaders of the two assemblies also send their condolences, joining thousands of Somalis who termed the late minister as a person who loved his country.

One of the main opposition parties, Wadajir Party, described the late minister as “lawyer who stood with the less fortunate during their hour of need.”

Abdi Hosh has suddenly died at hospital in the United Arab Emirates on Friday morning. Government officials and Jibril family have not given any details on the causes of his death.
