President Farmajo condemned protests in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU­­­— Somali government president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo condemned protests in Mogadishu that happened today. Taxi drivers have gone to the streets to protest the killing of their colleague by a police officer.

Farmajo doomed the activities carried out in the city by angry protesters. He said he will not allow the youth to destroy belongings of resident in Mogadishu in the name of remonstration.

Earlier today, angry protesters have blocked roads with burnt tires and caused destruction in Somali capital.

Somali president has also stated that stern action will be taken against any police officer that is involved in crime. He also condemned the killing of the Taxi driver in that happened earlier today.
