Mohamed Hussein Roble appointed Somalia’s new prime minister

Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaji has appointment the replacement of former Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire who was impeached by parliament on 25 July 2020.

The president appointed Mohamed Hussein Roble, a humanitarian, as the country’s new prime ministers last night shortly after reaching an agreement on the upcoming elections with federal member state leaders in Mogadishu.

The appointment was announced via social networking site of Twitter.

Roble will now form a new government that will lead the country through the transition period as the country prepares for a general election.
