BREAKING: Heavy gunfire after two people were killed in Mogadishu

MOGADISH—Heavy gunfire is heard in parts of Mogadishu after the killing of two people by the Somali Federal Government police.

The two who were auto rickshaw drivers were shot dead by police officer at Howlwadag junction. Auto rickshaw divers and the Somali police were head-on for the past weeks.

Taxi drivers and residents have gone to the streets to condemn the killing of the drivers. The police are firing bullets in the air to dispass the protesters.

The protesters have burnt tires and blocked major roads in the capital. Businesses were forced to close down as a result of the riots.

Other reports claim that three other Auto rickshaw drivers were killed in an unnamed junction in the capital this morning.
