Angola’s head of intelligence, José Luís Caetano Higino de Sousa, has made a secret visit to the Somali capital, Mogadishu on Tuesday.

The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) Twitter account has confirmed the arrival of the Angolan intelligence chief in Mogadishu.

According to NISA’s Twitter account, Angola’s intelligence chief, José Luís Caetano, met with NISA Director Fahad Yasin Haji Dahir and discussed bilateral relations and learning from NISA’s experience in counter-terrorism.

During the stay of Angola’s intelligence chief, security in Mogadishu was tightened, with some of the main roads closed.
