Al-Shabaab kills three teachers in yet another attack inside Kenya

Militants from the Al-Qaeda-linked group, Al-Shabaab, killed three Kenyan teachers very early on Monday morning in Kamuthey area, Garissa County.

The militants stormed the teachers’ quarters of Kamuthey Boys Boarding Primary School, killed the three teachers and wounded another, who has been rushed to Garissa Referral Hospital.

The militants also attacked the area police station and partially destroyed a communications mast in the area.

This is the latest in a string of attacks by the group against civilians and security forces inside Kenya in the last few weeks.

Last week, fighters from the group attacked a military base in Manda Bay, Lamu County, killing a US soldier and two US security contractors.
